12th General Election

Into the 51 years of independence, Malaysia will have its' 12th election on next weekend. I wonder how many citizen realize the importance for them to cast their very vote? I am really looking forward to see the day Malaysia being transform into a truly democratic asia country. It is about time for the new blood. Many of our beloved MPs and state assemblymen have been in the positions for too long...29 years in cabinet is surely a dull and boring life to lead...let us all give Malaysia a ... boom boom boom... and let it bounces back in the international arena.

Am counting down for the very day!

It's good to let it out

Finally recharged...

After some tiring days, finally they came to an end...I am now sitting in leisure in Kim Gary after the bowling game...trust me, a bowling game is really good to relax...you can toast away all your stress and unhappiness...

While a night out with my coursemates were stress free promising...We were in Mines Wonderland yesterday night to witness the CNY celebration...The snow house was freezing cold and the lanterns were astonishing...I have to admit that all of us are photomaniacs...everycorner we turned, we were sure to stop for a shot with either a lantern or even a gigantic piece of ice.

And the performance was excellent...I can't image myself being tossed up in the air...don't believe me then watch this clip...

Thank you to Ee Pheng, Yau, Kuan Mon, Hooi Fang and Kim Haur for such a good company!

Now I am so energetic after this great recharged!

Everything seems to went wrong

These late few days...so many bad things kept striking me...I tried to avoid and it seemed that they were unavoided.

  1. My fyp is still no where near completion and many more assignment due soon...really soon
  2. My notebook gave me whole lot of trouble and worries....1st the Fedora gui just dint work...then switching to another version of Fedora causing my notebook to hang coz of compatibility...then my windows also gone 'gong'. So in shortly 3 day I have formatted my laptop for may be 10 times....this is disaster!
  3. Then today my car was bumped by some stupid fellow....thou it wasn't very severe but it was still another issu that needs my attention....
  4. And I am worry about my job upon graduation...I have turned down 2 giving priority to my AIESEC internship but if the stupid system kept not functioning well...then I am really really worry...hopefully Cafrey can deliver more good news for me...

I can't take it anymore....so many things to juggle with...feel like heading somewhere and shout it out loud...

I desperately need a holiday....hope that my visit to Mines Wonderland tonight and the bowling session tomorrow could cheer me up!

Peace!

My form finally in MyAIESEC.net

Finally after a month of anxiety and worries....my EP form is finally in our MyAIESEC.net. Finally Cafrey deliver me this good news. My Ep number is now...EP-In-MY-UP-2008-1296.

I am sad to condemn our new system...not that it's new feature suck but rather the integration of the IXP in the new system which didn't work. I understand that trial run could not be run at full force hence there may be bugs or problems went undetectable. but just wondering why didn't they pay more attention on our core module...EXCHANGE!!!

Anyway...I am happy for my form is finally in....hope to get more good news from Cafrey and hope that my exchange module will be useable soon...I can't wait to match myself out...

Looking forward for my internship abroad! And to all my AIESEC counterpart...please assist me to match...Thanks!

Malaysia....justice and fair

Well I am not surprise to learn that our parliment has been dissolved today following all our recent good news and advertorial on our gov's good deeds nation wide especially to the chinese community...

I am happy for many people has benefitted from our generous gov's act...but...

Well I know that I am not in any position to judge anything but I believe our people are smart enough to decide what's better.

while about Jeff Ooi...I think I would vote for him if he contest in my area...but I believe he wouldn't want to be placed in such a kampung place like Bachang Bubuk...even I have not stepped my foot there...why Bachang Bubuk when I am staying in Bukit Minyak???

Let us choose what's best for us and may Malaysia be free and prosper!

And for me...I can't wait to cast my 1st vote...hmm...another symbol of freedom and adulthood....

Gong Xi Fa Chai!

Happy CNY to everyone!

It has been a year since my 3 Japanese friends joined me in this celebration. I enjoyed it very much especially showing them all our 'wah wah wah' custome to them. They were very impressed ... :D

In this year of rat, I hoped and aimed for better.

To kick start this golden year...like past years, I am back at home to do spring cleaning. My home is in a chaos after the repainting.

So like normal...practising and spending my CNY according to our wah wah wah custome,
  1. night prayers...pai 'Tien Gong'...with all those decorated fruits....I spent hours sticking the red deco and arranging them
  2. eat 'Tong Sui'...sweet the whole year through...we have the modern version of 'Tang Yuan'...the sago
  3. eat 'Fatt Choy'...no slaughtering...so we ate mix vegetable
  4. wishes...'Gong Xi Fa Chai!'...of course followed by 'Hong Bou Na Lai' in my heart
  5. visit relatives...'pai nian'
  6. oh yes not to forget last minute shopping...not those shopping in malls...but rather in the wet market...I was there on CNY eve as early as 6.30am but the market was already very crowded...and needless to say the things were very expensive too...RM0.30 for a 'huat kuai' of a size of half a ping pong ball.
and the Do & Don't during CNY
  1. No sweeping
  2. No hair wash
  3. All positive words
  4. and bla bla bla
Keeping to all this strict custome is at times boring but I really cherish it....I am proud to be a Malaysian Chinese...

My bumpy ride home...

Finally back at home safely. This time I was on the Firefly FY3406 flight. We boarded the Focker F50 plane from the long deserted Terminal 3, Subang International Airport.  The
terminal only serves 3 small scale airline namely Fireflyz, Berjaya and another airline...could not recall its' name.

There was nothing in that airport now.  Only checkin counter and the boarding gate and the taxi counter. All other shops and stalls were not manned. No food stall either. The nearest restaurant was on the opposite road...We had our dinner in the 'Mama Chopped Papa Grilled'...food rather so so...

Our flight was on time. Bravo for the excellent service...and the seat, they were rather spacious compared to the AirAsia's Airbus. The stewardess are more professional or at least could speak better english.

Towards the last quarter of our flight and at 16000ft above the sea level, the weather got worse. It was raining cats and dogs and very cloudy. So every time we bumped into the unavoided cloud, we would be swing to a side. The worse experiences were the close to few seconds' free fall...really like I was on the space shot but this was more horrible as we were
loosely fasten to the seat.

However I believed that the pilot has tried his best in sparing us from those falls. With the skill that he has showed us during our landing, I am convienced that he is a skillful pilot...so bravo to our Mr Pilot and thank you Firefly for providing us another economical option home....

Another update on my eat out - Jogoya Starhill

at the entrance

I visited Starhill 2 weeks ago with my roomate and 2 other friends. We purposely drove there just to try out the famous Jogoya Buffet.

Well my feedback was the food was excellent as awhole. The Jap corner was marvelous with those fresh sashmi and oyster. The grilled corner was superb. So were the dessert especially the Gelanto ice-cream. And not to forget were those mochi or the dessert corner.

However the western corner and the asian corner were soso only. So if you are a Jap food lover like me then perhaps this place is valued for money place to eat for you but if you are not, do consider this place is you a either a big eater or you are an ice-cream maniac...:D

Oh yes the price ....
RM78++ (Lunch - W/day is 11.30 am to 1.40pm, W/end is 11.00 am to 2.00pm),
RM68++ (Late Lunch - W/day is 1.40 pm to 4.20pm, W/end is 2 pm to 4.20pm),
RM88++ (Dinner - W/day and W/end is 5 pm to 9.30pm)
RM78++ (Supper - W/day and W/end is 9.30pm to 1am).
Kids are charged RM10++ or more depending on their individual height.
