3 months Check point
My career - eye opening in Intel and in VTS PDE Solutions specifically. Impressive to see how we are organized. We work cross-site, meetings at odd hours and yet we can still be so organized and productive.
My workload - lots lots of work to be done. Feel like I have joined for years.
My learning - I have learned a lot in these 3 months. I have learned more about vector usage in C++. Picked up C#, VB, Perl and Nmake. And the most impressive ones are the usage of Yacc, Lex, and Bison in our development.
My stress-level - high... timeline to meet...a release every 4 weeks...so just imagine how my life is now.
My finance - poor and dry...I used to dream of being able to save some in my first year for my dream car but till now it seem to be more difficult that I have thought.
My daily routine - boring and lots of OT but no additional pay for that hard work.
My room - really messy. Rather dilly dally than cleaning my room.
My appearance - permed and coloured my hair. Though it is not very much like what I have expected it to be, I am still happy for this change.
My family - my dad was admitted for almost 2 weeks. Have been discharged but still coughing days and nights. He is haunted by his asthma for half a century now.
My friends - less time for them...glad to be able to spend some time with Akino, Miki, Megumi, Yatsushi, Kensuke and my new friend Dier from Japan. They were here in Penang for their summer holiday. Managed to catch up with Sheila and Jamunesary after years apart and met Wai Lee too.
My movie time - Have not watched any movie at cinema in this late 1 month. The last one was 2 months back.
My coffee time - Could not recall when and where I have my last coffee...Starbucks or Coffee Bean? I missed them...but my pocket is running low.
My outings - I have visited Cameron Highland in June for a short vacation with my family members. Then after 24 years in Penang, finally I have witnessed the Dragon Boat Championship in Penang.
My holiday plan - I have confirmed my vacation plan for this year end. I will have my Christmas and New Year countdown in Hong Kong and Macau.
Last but not least ...
My future and thought - Promising future in my department and in Intel.

Congratulation to all democrat Malaysians
Again Malaysians have decided! Congratulation to all Malaysians, our leader has successfully secured his place in the parliament. We are now a step forward into a democrat and liberal Malaysia.
Besides the by-election, another hot news are the 2nd reading of the DNA Act...NO to DNA Act Amendment!!! It is obvious that this is a politic play by our governing DNA...yes we know that PM and ministers have stepped out explaining the gray situation but this would not help. why now and not later or earlier? Why during the by-election is called and why the 2nd reading is carried forward? Are they all such a coincident or it is a plot?

Is Malaysia an independent Nation?
51 years...she is about to celebrate her 51th anniversary but are we really independence enough?
Malaysians have been brought up to learn that our country has gained its independence from the British empire about half a century. but are actually independence enough in our thoughts and practices. With the political tsunami in the recent 318 election, it showed that some of our countrymen started to have some independence in thoughts. We no longer listen and follow blindly.
With all those tactics played in this Permatang Pauh byelection, I hoped that it would not affected our stands. Let us decide on this professionally. Please think twice before falling into those traps.
Do our votes worth RM2k? I think no...every vote counts. Our future is in the hand of our fellow Permatang Pauh countrymen.
And has the sex life of our politician has anything got to do with us?...sex scandal has been very popular among our leaders. To me...nothing matters about that as long as he is performing his duties well.
And is sumpah is in the trend recently? Or is the Islamic practices converging with Christianity in this matter or is this a part of the judiciary practices in our country?
Let us decide the future of our country! Let us perform our duty as the responsible citizens of this independent nation. And finally bravo to our CM for his wise decision in declaring 826 a public holiday of the state. And kudos to the management of companies and organizations in Penang for giving the people off ...whether it is a whole day off or just hours break...we Penangites appreciate it!
Am looking forward to tomorrow's by-election...

Am I a Thankful person?
Sometimes I felt bad of myself...
I love one thing and yet I tried to avoid from doing it. It is not that I am not thankful or what...It was just because I need to restrain myself from committing. I would love to do it once in a while but not to commit for long. If you know me well, then you would most probably understand that I tried to keep my words...people can trust me for what I have said. Once I said yes to it, then sure a yes that I will do it.
And because of this, at times, I just wanted to minimal my promises and commitment. I don't want to tell you one and do another.
Please understand that I have my other commitments and priorities. I can only say that I will try...I know try is not a good word to use but that is the best that I could do...at least for now.
I am thankful for all favours, helps and all that have been given and all that I get.

Malaysian media trend
If I am a foreigner who came across any Malaysian media, I would be pretty impressed and attracted to continue on...spending some time to venture into it.
You ask me why?
Well I have to say that we Malaysians are truly unique in many ways and especially in our media coverage. I am not sure if you all out there notice about this trend, but I do. When all other foreign media is busy reporting and evaluating on the world economy and inflation, the local media here is busy propagating and speculating on scandals...wonder which national TV news has got headlines like Report me for oral sex, Soi Lek challenges adversaries and Ka Siong: Show me the sex video, and I will resign immediately .
So what am I bothered about? Sex scandal or the economics...However I have to admit that most of the time, I do keep up with those news...haha...just a mode of entertainment.

In Loving Memory of Motherly Mary Phuah
After years and series of fight against cancer, Pn Phuah finally left in peace on last Friday.
I first got to know late Pn Phuah through the girl guiding movement ten years ago. Back then she was a very an active guider in PGGA, serving as commisioner. She has raised and guided many Queen's Guides in Penang especially from Union High School.
She was so devoted and passionated towards guiding. Even after her retirement from her teaching career, she was still actively involved with girl guiding. I could not recall the numbers of camps that we have worked together and nights we have spent together under the roof of PGGA.
I love her. Prayers and god bless!
