Ujrah Scheme for my PTPTN loan
I have received the contract via email from the PTPTN authority for close to 2 months already. I kept procrastinating on effort to read through the 21 pages document and to decide on whether to revise the agreement or not. Now that the dateline is approaching, I am forced to decide.
The 21 pages document comprised of 1 page of checklist, 5 pages of authorization and payment forms, 9 pages of loan agreement and 6 pages of guarantor agreement.
As I wasn't that familiar with the Islamic scheme, I decided to google for it. This was an interesting article I got from the search.
It was interesting not because of some fancy terms or the site that hosted it but it was due to those comments received on the post. I wasn't much aware of the poor language used until I scanned through the comments. I agreed with most on SS's average English(*average considering that I detected some incorrect tenses) but thanked him for spelling out our concerns bravely.
I would consider myself as an active internet user. I read and write a lot here. But I do not see how one can improve their grammar by reading online. Reading online can sometime bring more cons than pros if you are not selective about the pages you browse. Generally people tend to use broken English and abbreviations on the cyber space. Our command of the language are mold over the years in school and in our daily conversation. Things do not happen overnight.
So I would blame this on our education system. Our system has failed us over the years. We, the Generation Y are relatively poorer than our predecessor. Now that we are behind track, we should seriously do something to improve this phenomenon. Let me start off myself by reading more news articles online and cut down those status updates on Facebook. The cyber social network is killing the beauty of the language.
Back on my earlier discussion for this post, my analysis shows that the scheme is a gift but the terms and conditions are rights violator empowerment medium. Agreeing to the 1% charges would means that I grant the agency all rights to access my private details as well as my guarantors (*both my parents) details on all agencies they deemed necessary. Why would the agency need so much details? It would be less harmful if they are only granted access to our financial report through the Bank Negara. Why does the clause say 'mana-mana agensi'? Which agencies do they meant here?
I have concerns and worries but I am just an ordinary Malaysian. I ask myself 'Which is the correct channel for us to raise our concern?, What is the correct procedure?, Would our concern be heard?'. Finally 'Am I flogging a dead horse?'.

Photo from holiday on the other coast
This was from my last holiday on the East coast of Peninsular Malaysia. This was a trip which I didn't really enjoyed much about.
Day 1, it was a long ride to Kota Bharu. We took North South Highway and turned into Butterworth Kulim Expressway at Seberang Jaya. Then into the and Grik Highway en route Baling, Grik, Jeli, Rantau Panjang, Pasir Mas and finally into Kota Bharu. Luckily it was a sunny day and the green scenic on the Titiwangsa mountains were breath taking. Our first meal in Kelantan was great too. I love the nasi kerabu and ayam percik served by the Yati Ayam Percik stall at Jalan Long Yunus.
Day 2...my mouth wide open looking at how our public officers were working. We were rushing here an there through out the hold day and yet nothing done (Read my experience here).
I was rotting with the orchids in their officeOur eating out plan wasn't good either. We tried the recommended pulut tapai at Selera CPT along Jalan Long Yunus. None like the tapai and the cendol base was tasteless.
The chinese food at Medan Selera Kebun Sultan was rather poor. After meal desserts in the TeaTalk Kopitiam on the opposite road were less satisfying. And the cough mixture like coffee drink at Hayaki sucked!
Day 3 Most accomplished in a day. Sunrise at Pantai Cahaya Bulan, yummy nasi dagang at Kwang Ling and temples visit in Tumpat. Kelantan has nothing better than the not so well maintained Buddhist temples.
After long hours under the hot sun, we headed back to town for some cool air. So we visited the KB mall, in which my driving skill was put to test...2 turns to get to the car park on the 5th floor. No wonder, the car park attendant stopped me before I got up and asked, "Boleh naik?". I was puzzled. Anyway I answered "boleh" and then only to discover that I signed up for the roller coaster ride. What made the situation worse was we witnessed a MPV on the opposite direction got itself scratch against the wall...ziiiingggggg. Kelantan architect really boleh and the officers lagi boleh. Such a crazy plan can be approved and built to reality.We didn't stayed long in the mall. My mum was worry all the time we were in the mall. She was worried of how I could drive down later. So to calm her, we left early and hit the car park again and left after another round of roller coaster ride.
In the evening, with the GPS leading our way, we manage to find our way to the best Siamese restaurant in Kelantan. It took us approximately half an hour to Chiang Mai Restaurant at Tumpat. It was worth the drive for the prawn doughnuts and the spicy sour fish...yummy!
We left Chiang Mai minutes after the rain started pouring heavily. Scary moment to be in such an alien place with wild grown one meter tall grass on both side of the narrow path. The raining cats and dogs when we finally passed the clogged bridge linking Tumpat to KB...the bridge seemed flooded. If bridges could be flooded, more over the low lands. No wonder flood was such a big issue to Kelantan. Blamed it on their architects and officers at JKR and pejabat tanah.Not even half way through the bridge, the KB city in front of us just went black off. No street lights or anything other than the vehicles lamps. This was just a super bad bad for me and my fellow Kelantanese. Wonder how could they stand such a disastrous day? According to the locals, it was normal for the whole or half the city to go back off.

Day 5...We were back to civilization. I love Penang and am grateful to be a Penangite. Got Haagen Daz buffet treat from sis as my holiday compensation.

KKM and JKN Kelantan sucked!
I wonder if this was normal for them?
My sis received her posting letter pretty late if compared to her friends. The letter mentioned that she is to report in for duty to JKN Kelantan on 16 Oct(Fri). As the letters were sent by KKM in bulk, she has to call the state office to confirm the reporting date since it is holiday in Kelantan (Friday is an offday in Kelantan). The officer asked her to report in on Monday, 19 Oct.
My mum and I accompanied my sister there. We left for Kelantan on Sunday. On Monday morning, we headed to the Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri(JKN) Kelantan at Wisma Persekutuan. She was there to report to the state authority. Family and spouses were kept waiting outside while the newly transfered pharmacists were directed to the meeting room. An officer walked in at close to 9am and deliver his welcoming speech. After a winding speech, they were told by the officer that their transfer to the state were not made known to the JKN Kelantan, hence nothing has been arranged for them. Anyway, they were asked to report to the Jabatan Farmasi at Pengkalan Chepa.
So we rushed to the Jabatan Farmasi, hoping that her placement is based on 'First Come, First Serve Basis'. It took us approximately 15 minutes to get there but we were kept waiting long. The newly reporting pharmacists were kept waiting in the meeting room again while parents and spouses were all waiting outside.
While we were waiting, the officers were busy...busy dilly dally, chatting and moving in and out of 'dewan makan'. They were all busy with their Jamuan Hari Raya I supposed. So we could only wait, wait and wait only.
Finally at close to 11 o'clock, one of the newbie's mother who is a doctor, started to 'mengamuk'. Complained to the officers impatiently. Thanks to her mother, finally the 'Penolong Pengarah' went into the meeting room to meet the newbies. Another round of winding lectures, they were told that the department was not prepared for their transfer in. So they were asked to wait till after the placement list being endosed in thier Wednesday department meeting and letter would be out by Thursday morning.
My sisters and her new colleagues asked what should they do before they know their placement and guess what he replied? He said something like this, "Kamu kena datang ke office seperti biasa dan buat apa yang sepatutnya." ...puzzled, 'What can pharmacists do sitting in the meeting room together all day?'
Since we were there with May, she decided to take a few days leave and only return to office on Thursday to get her posting letters while we could venture and discover Kota Bharu.
However on the Tuesday evening, she learnt about the posting decision was out from her friends....didn't the officer mentioned that the list would be out no earlier than Wednesday? the meeting got brought forward, canceled or what :-( My sister and WT were sent to Hospital Machang, in a small and slow pace town. What worsen their emotion was when they discovered X( a 'he') actually got posted to Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II. X met up with the officer personally and told the officer that he was a first class honour student and it would be a waste to send him to those hospitals in rural area...well well, I didn't know that the results would matter even after working for a year. Ridiculous!
There were a lot other factors that the officer could take into consideration...gender and distance from the newbies hometown, and the past year performance were more important in my opinion...or to be fair, just do a random draw. Again this prove that in Kelantan, officers were super inefficient and their words could not be taken seriously.
So on Wednesday morning, my sister and WT went to the office to collect their letters and to appeal the department's decision. It was pretty tough for girls to start off their life in an alien rural area. They didn't get to meet the officer. According to his asst., he was away in Johor and would only be back few days later...trying to hide away ya?
My sis and WT have no other choices but to report to Hospital Machang as being commanded. Hospital Machang...physically, the hospital compound was big but the number of patience was low. The bed occupancy was low, approximately at 50%. There were 4 doctors and guess how many phamacist they have. There were 6 pharmacist.
However big the hospital was, there was no quarter for them two. My sis and WT were initially promised a quarter, so we didn't bother to hunt for house elsewhere since the quarter looks fine but later were to receive call from the hospital staff saying that they have overlooked. That huge quarter must be emptied and reserved for another soon to join doctor. Damn...'sekejap boleh, sekejap tak boleh'.
With this kind of management and attitude, Malaysia's public healthcare sector can never progress and we people are going to suffer.

Bloody money sucking & inefficient UTM
Forgive me if you feel offended by this article. This was just my way to express my uneasiness and my dissatisfy towards our tertiary education system.
This is how my story went and ended up in a havoc...
I made up my mind to do my postgraduate in February....initially i have UTM's Master in Engineering (Microelectronics & Computer) and MMU's Master in Engineering (Telecommunication) and its Master in Engineering (Microelectronics) in consideration. However I chose UTM looking at my interest and the relevance to my current position in Intel.
So on February 23, I sent my application form to UTM on a registered express post for I have been mislead by the date mentioned in their website....which I was later told by the officers who came to Intel to do the introductory sharing that the date was meant for their current final year students who wish to continue on....this was the 1st wrong do of them.
In early April, my friends told me that they have received letter from the university saying that their applications have been received and in the mid of processing them. I did not receive any news about my application but I was sure that my application must have arrived after checking with Pos Malaysia....my friends application forms arrived in UTM in the end of Feb but only heard from them in early April...this was the 2nd wrong do of them...why would it take a month plus just to send out a simple computer generated letter to confirm that our applications have been received....worse when I heard nothing at all from them.
I grew more and more anxious as the days, weeks and months past.
By mid of May, my friends started to receive their confirmation letter and documents...yet there was no news about my application.
Finally on May 20, the uni authority rang me, telling me that they did not received my application payment. So I quickly fax over my receipt. One week later, I finally received the 1st letter my friends received...a little relieves after such a long tense up period.
Time flies...as the reporting date was drawing closer, I could no longer wait patiently. I called the SPS office...after being diverted few times, I was finally in touch with Cik H***m. I was told that I have been accepted and they are now in the process of sending out the acceptance letter.
Then on 25 June, I called Cik H***m again. This time I was told that the letter has already been delivered and I should be expecting it next week. The delay was due to the tuition fee review.
I waited impatiently till the following Monday, 29 June.I called Cik H***m to confirm the status of my application and again I was assured that I have been accepted and the letter was sent out on 26 June...this was their 3rd wrong do.
During this call, she claimed that the letter has been delivered but this time, she said it was only delivered out a day after our last call.So I asked for a hard copy to be delivered to me via fax. Surely I would not make the RM2k payment without any hard copy confirmation...
In the noon of 30 June, the mentioned letter has not arrived in my house yet. So I thought I may be more efficient if I made a request via an email.So here goes my email.
Anyway I just rang Dr O****n, wanting to see what he has got to say. By the end of our conversation, I felt so upset. He gave me no explanation for all the delay nor any explanation for the fee increment. I could only recalled a remark from him on the increment "What an unfortunate." Huh? Deputy Dean saying it's an unfortunate...guess not for the case of the university.
So with all this havoc, could one still continue in this university? Not sure about others, for me surely not in this bloody money sucking university and such an inefficient one.
Btw...the letter finally arrived in my house on that very last day, 3 July. The stamp on the envelope dated July 1, 2009.

I am Lim Sze Wan (ARN: M091014069). I have called previously and have been informed that I have been accepted and official letter has been sent out. As of today, I have not received any related document from your university. Kindly verify and get back to me on my application status.
I have learned that the course registration has been scheduled in Vistana Hotel this weekend. If my application is successful, can you send the document again on pos express for I will need to submit those documents to my company’s HR and need to get the medical check up done?

Dear Sir,3 July, a day before the registration, I received a call from Cik H***M. Never expected a call from her as early as 8.30am. This time her intonation wasn't that pleasing.
I wish to get your attention into the subject mentioned above.
I have called Cik H***m for numerous times and have been informed that I am accepted for the Sarjana Kejuruteraan (Elektrik – Komputer & Sistem Mikroelektrik). I was told that the official letter and documents have been sent out last week, 24 June 2009 and expected to register myself this weekend. However up till this moment, I have yet to receive such documents from your university. I have also requested for a copy to be sent to me via fax and I did not receive any as well. Without any proper document from your university, I can neither proceed to get the medical check up nor made arrangement for fees payment.
Kindly get back to me at my email XXX@intel.com on the steps for registration for the course above.

Me : Ya.

Me : Tapi boleh faxkan surat tawaran kepada saya, baru saya boleh proceed dengan payment. H***m : Saya sekarang ini sudah nak pergi Penang. Tak sempat nak send. Untuk pendaftaran esok, kamu bayar dua ribu sahaja.
Me : Jumlah yuran berapa?
H***m : Semua yuran adalah tiga puluh ribu ringgit.
Me : Ok.
(bump...heard her hang off so quickly)
Dear Sze Wan,No wonder Cik H***m called that early morning in that rude intonation.
The registration will begin at 12noon tomorrow, vistana hotel. You can collect the second copy of the offer letter there. We are on the way to Penang now. Call my number 019XXXXXXX after 2pm today for clarification.

What's best for Penang?
It is really sad to learn that we have such a short sighted MP in Malaysia.
MP Datuk Bung Mokhtar Radin (BN – Kinabatangan) questioned the rationale of 2nd Penang Bridge.
This Datuk wanted to know the rationale for spending RM4.3bil for the bridge, adding: “If RM4.3bil is to be given to the poor rural folk, how wonderful. They will be elated especially now, when the economy is not doing well. Voters in Kinabatangan will be thankful for that.” I wonder if he is aware how much Penang has contributed to the country's GDP.

At a glance, I think this will be a very cool idea to develop Penang tourism sector but thinking twice, it is true that we need to take many factors into our consideration.

- Safety of the general - Precaution steps to asure the safety of the people
- Safety of the giant cat - Are we able to provide them a natural habitat and will this project affect them in any ways?
- Enviromental issue - this project may involves 100-acre Relau Community Park with many durian farms around the area...any major changes to this place to accommodate to this project?
- Continuity of the mega project - Will this project last or this is just merely a dream of YB Lim alone. Wondering what will happen if we are to invest millions here but the moment the Lim Dynasty is over, will this project be buried along?
Anyway I only hoped for a better Penang. MPs, please do not politicise people's interest and our country's development!

How much do I have to pay them?
How I wished to be able to spend loosely? This will never be possible for I have got into a stable but low income profession. Engineers are averagely very poor or at least I am sure I am poor!
Recently the Selangor state exco declared their income and assets. I was rather shocked to learn about the amount. An average exco members would receive salary and allowances from the state government of approximately RM17,000. Their income may go up as high as RM40,000 per month with few other positions such as the chairman of subsidiaries companies of the state government.
So if the opposition ruling state's exco can have this figure, what about the BN's ruling state and the central government servants? Really curious to learn how much money could the PM of a developing country like Malaysia could earn per month?

Attention to all Malaysians especially Penangites and Butterworthrians
Please be extra careful especially Malaysians, Penangites and Butterworthrians. This happen to my family. My aunt was shocked but relieved to learn about her sons' safety and the well being of all my other cousins. She wrote the notes below to warn everyone else.
Hi,
My family has just received a call fr a stranger abt half an hour ago, requesting for ransom money of RM100k..claiming he has got hold of a child. The receiver heard a background sound of a child crying pleading for the mummy to rescue him.
We were all so panicked then and started calling to check on our childrens' safety.. and were all relieved to find that they are all safe.
Pls be alert that this syndicate is around our neighbourhood now in Butterworth. Do be extra careful and should highlight to our kids of the danger of strangers.
Do take care. I do not want any of us to have the fear that my family have just gone thru. But Thank God, they everyone is safe now.

Yes...this was quoted from one of the many policemen we have in Malaysia. Thanks to our PDRM academy for training such an idiotic officer and thanks to JPA for even consider hiring such an irresponsible officer.
This was the answer my dad and I got when my dad asked if they would take any action on my case...perhaps increase the frequency of police patrol around the neighbourhood?
And he answered 'we increase in North, cases happens in South. We increase in East, cases happens in West'
I was not joking or trying to make up some case here. This was real and I have heard it myself. Those words were from an Inspector during the investigation session on the robbery case that happened on me recently...Yes I have have to admit that it was my wrong for not rebutting or filed any complain on this incident.
Firstly, after the robbery I was emotionally and mentally half paralyzed. I could not further question him on his remark. Secondly, I didn't believe and do not believe and not convinced with the performance and efficiency of these officers. They have always claimed to uphold their most dignity with the slogan 'Bersih, Cekap dan Amanah' but I doubt it. Thirdly, filling another complaint against that officer might get me into more trouble. 2 police report and 2 investigation sessions were enough for the day. Who would want to stay on in that damn cold place for minutes or hours longer?
Not to forget to mention about the so called investigation that took place. It was barely a Q&A session. I was seated right opposite that officer while looking at him writting at a super slow speed...but applause for the tidynesss in his handwriting...see...the investigation trend that we have here...oups or perhaps his way, 'investigation = Q&A'....unlike what we have seen in those CSI...so if I was the robber, I will surely continue looking at the way the officer carried out their investigation was going no where, no conclusion or solution...
So from this experience I could conclude on how the officer carried out his duty...

They arrived 40 minutes later with their loud siren on...announcing their late arrival to the public...the police station was at most 15 minutes away counting in the traffic lights...but wonder who actually believe police car with siren on would wait for traffic light?
Can we still trust policemen? I mean as in relying on them to maintain our national safety and protect lives. With the increasing criminal rates and more cases reported on the media daily, are we safe now?
Looking at these 2 cases, I have lost my very least confidence on PDRM...and counting in bribery practise, I dispice them...dispice the career...dispice the force...

LoUsY encounter with C*MB Bank
My past experience with this bank was very very poor.
LoUsY experience 1
I asked my sister to get my passbook updated but she was told by the bank officer that my account was shut down automatically due to inactive account...looking that my passbook has not been updated for the past 3 to 4 years. My sis asked for confirmation and yes....she was told the exact same thing as the 1st attempt. I was frustrated when I was first told about that...tried very hard to figure out when was the last time I actually did transaction on that account. I could not recall the exact date but was pretty sure that it was no more that 6 months ago. So how can that happen? How can this bank justify my inactiveness?...I could not believe on how wild my brain could go with all possible stupid answer by the bank. I would not want to give in even there was only ringgits in it. I went to the ATM machine to give it a try ...and yes...my account was still active and with hundreds in it....Damn it...what would happen if I would just believe that officer...most probably...the money would be left there untouched and went to the unclaimed money after years.

I was in UPM back then. I Q for hours to bank in money for @activites. After waiting for almost an hour, I was told by the officer at the counter to do the bank in using the machine outside. They would not accept bank in cash at the counter....again it's another %#$#@!

Before I got into UPM, I received the advancement of loan from PTPTN. I received it in the form of banker's cheque by C*MB. I can either encashed it at the bank with some charges on me or I can just open up a new account and debit that cheque into it and no charges for that. So of course I would not allow any charges on me so I choose to open a new account. However I did not apply for the ATM card as there will be an annual fees of RM8 and I have no intention to use it for long term. But I was wrong about that as the PTPTN transaction for UPM has been moved to this lousy bank. So I have no choice but to apply for a card. I went to the bank's branch in UPM but was told that they could not issue a card for me. I have to apply for that back in Penang. They could not do that for the so called 'outstation account'. I just wonder why do they need an online system then when they could not do anything from beyond the state? $%^&##!!!

This was actually experienced by my sis. She opened a fixed deposit account in the Endah PArade branch....and later found out that she could not withdraw her deposit from branches other than the original branch where that account was created. She went back to that very same branch and this time, she was not allowed to do the withdrawals well. This time the excuse was rather fresh....'You can't withdraw this here. As your account was created before so and so, your account has been moved to the Sri Petaling branch. Now you can withdraw it there. We can only do an update for you.'....so what a stupid and silly bank...If anyone is urgently in need of money...then sorry #$%^@#

Again...experienced by my sis. She wanted to withdrew a huge lump sum from her saving account...and guess what they imposed a bank charge on her...I wonder which other bank actually charge its customer when they withdrew money...withdrawal from normal saving account, not even a current account and etc....$^##&
And needless to say...they charges their customer on all sorts of services...bank in, withdraw, closing, encashment and all other services that you could name...
I am not sure if you have ever heard that C*MB Bank is controlled by the 2nd man of our country. I am not sure of how true it is but based on the saying of 1 side, it seem to be very true. Why such a small capacity bank years back can manage to take over S*B Bank so easily where there were better buyer?
Only 1 reason to explain this. The national bank's ruling is based the pressure or I would say influenced by some party and you know who I meant by here.
I don't care who the bank belongs to but this bank really sucked!...wonder what will happen now with the minister portfolio switch...

Malaysian media trend
If I am a foreigner who came across any Malaysian media, I would be pretty impressed and attracted to continue on...spending some time to venture into it.
You ask me why?
Well I have to say that we Malaysians are truly unique in many ways and especially in our media coverage. I am not sure if you all out there notice about this trend, but I do. When all other foreign media is busy reporting and evaluating on the world economy and inflation, the local media here is busy propagating and speculating on scandals...wonder which national TV news has got headlines like Report me for oral sex, Soi Lek challenges adversaries and Ka Siong: Show me the sex video, and I will resign immediately .
So what am I bothered about? Sex scandal or the economics...However I have to admit that most of the time, I do keep up with those news...haha...just a mode of entertainment.
You ask me why?

The Current and the past
Recent political movement in Malaysia has been an interesting topic to be discussed out both locally and internationally.
The past still could not get over on their past glory while the current ones trying to prove themselves.
Today on the star news, we have Lim Guan Eng echoing on how much he has done while on another article Koh and coalition trying to claim victory . Well to my observance and understanding as an anak Penang, we have more that can be accomplished looking at our glory days decades ago and yet now we have been left behind for many years...industrial--slow, tourism--disaster, transportation&infrastructure--delay(worse when it is delayed indefinitely), people's welfare--what more that we can ask for...smokers on duty in hospital?
Now that the Pakatan Rakyat is in power, the past administrator is trying to claim their effort...well I just don't buy their say.
While on the Federal governance, I have nothing more to say...neither I would buy Dr M's version nor Pak Lah's. Let's hear from the expert.

Another Hilarious news on The Star
Certain CCTVs at KLIA have no recording feature
What is the use of CCTV if they have no recording function? Don't tell me that we need to place special and specific personnel just to monitor that 'live video streaming'. If that is the case perhaps we can save RM120million...RM120mil contract for 414 units of CCTV
So Malaysia memang boleh...we have CCTV that has no recording feature and we can spend RM120million on 414 units of CCTV ( RM14,492.75 per unit per year)...what CCTV is this? must be super hightech to cost this sum...perhaps it has a lot more function that we common people don't know... :P

Who has got the best cubicle?
Privacy and space has always been a priority in Intel. My employer to be, has been providing one of the best work place for its' employees...giving each of us a 6x6 cubicle fully equipped with a personal computer, telephone, table with sufficient storage place and an ergo chair which I deem as very expensive. According to my last meet with Intel's Safety Engineer who are responsible for the ergo chair, that one chair cost Intel approximately RM800...and with Intel's reputation, I am proud to call myself an Inteller.
With all this fascination on cubicle, I was attracted by the headline on the star...
I bet none could guess correctly on how much would each of the ministers' cubicles would cost...teng teng teng teng...it's all in RM1.7 million which means each of that 21 super luxurious cubicle would cost approximately RM81,000...that is about the cost for more than 1 unit of low cost houses...
Well I do understand that they need those equipments like table, telephone, fax machine and computer and TV...shared unit of copy machine, printer and sofa set for every 2 ministers. But how much would all these cost....
From my googled result
Table : S$2,999.00 from here equivalent to RM6,960.93
Telephone : $499.00 from here equivalent to RM1,572.49
Fax machine : £450.00 from here equivalent to RM2,793.13
Computer : $4999 from here equivalent to RM15,760.84
TV: £999.00 from here equivalent to RM6,201.91
shared unit
Copy machine : $3,999 from here equivalent to RM12,606.79
Printer : $ 399.00 at here equivalent to RM1,257.94

With this kind of budgeting...perhaps I shall consider to tender for this project...I believe I will be able to source for things at price better than the above and quote our gov at a lower price...a win win situation isn't it?...haha
So now looking back at Intel...my cube to be is nothing comparable to the one provided by all Malaysians.

A Brand New Page on Malaysia History
I was up till 3am today to update on our 12th General Election Result. I believe that many of our twelve hundred thousands passionate new voters like me stayed up late too.
I could not believe the result when I first learned that our famous blogger, Mr Jeff Ooi has been granted the rights to sit in the Parliment. I believe this was an early sign of true democracy in our country...freedom of speech!
Then more positive news for the opposition...wait...should I still named them the opposition...no! I believe it is not very right to name them the opposition, they are just a coalition that oppose those great ideas of the ruling goverment but now that they are the ruling party in Penang, then perhaps we should change...we should call them the goverment and the BN as the opposition.
Besides Penang, our democracy voice has blown and reached out to nationwide. The opposition coalition has claimed victory in Kedah, Perak, Selangor and Kelantan.
As up to 8.28am, the result is as below
Finally congrates to all Malaysian blogger for our Mr Jeff Ooi is heading for the parliament...our 1st blogger in Parliament! And congrates to M Lim Guan Eng for being entrusted as the CM of Penang!

Besides Penang, our democracy voice has blown and reached out to nationwide. The opposition coalition has claimed victory in Kedah, Perak, Selangor and Kelantan.

Finally congrates to all Malaysian blogger for our Mr Jeff Ooi is heading for the parliament...our 1st blogger in Parliament! And congrates to M Lim Guan Eng for being entrusted as the CM of Penang!
So to all candidates being entrusted in the state assembly or the parliament, I wish them all the best and hope that everyone manage to live up to the expectation of the people!

12th General Election
Into the 51 years of independence, Malaysia will have its' 12th election on next weekend. I wonder how many citizen realize the importance for them to cast their very vote? I am really looking forward to see the day Malaysia being transform into a truly democratic asia country. It is about time for the new blood. Many of our beloved MPs and state assemblymen have been in the positions for too long...29 years in cabinet is surely a dull and boring life to lead...let us all give Malaysia a ... boom boom boom... and let it bounces back in the international arena.

Not so well today
I can't helped it but to talk less today. I believed many of my friends notice this today and most probably wondering ...if I am having a mood swing or another monthly 'aunty visit'? well...'no' to both...My running nose and my sorethroat is bad. So anyone has any miraculous cure for this....CNY is comming...I don't want to fall back on bed wearing my new clothes....
Anyway...nothing remarkable today...nothing much about me...and nation wide only the 'Number of hardcore poor decreasing' on the Star caught my attention. I don't know how much it is true but if it is then it is good. Just hope that Malaysia is not lack behind even with the less attention on IT sector in our goverment's policy. I believe argiculture is important but in today's global trend...IT is nowhere but everywhere.
May all Malaysians live up to our Malaysia Boleh spirit!

Health minister in sex scandal
I believe the title itself would attract many but well this is not my concern. I have no interest in his sex life. I have 3 other major concerns.
1. Is our hotel safe? where is our privacy?
2. Malaysians are still 3rd world minded...why bother about other people's sex scene.
3. Health Minister who is unaware of 1 single sex partner practise
To all Malaysians out there...please do not be so shallow...Dr Chua's sex life has got nothing much to do with us.
Hope that our politicians learn their lesson!
